The Redundancy Payments Service (RPS) is part of the Insolvency Service and is responsible for making statutory payments from the National Insurance Fund to former employees of insolvent companies.

The Chief Executive’s Technical Team supports the RPS by advising on complex technical and legal issues affecting its work and other front-line areas of the Insolvency Service.
