In 2026, the Annual Conference marks 40 years since the introduction of the Insolvency Act 1986, celebrating the profession’s progress while exploring the changes that have shaped restructuring, turnaround and insolvency over four decades.

The programme will reflect on key milestones in the profession’s history and consider the future of policy, practice and regulation, with a focus on maintaining the UK’s leading role as a global centre for restructuring, turnaround and insolvency.

The conference takes place at the Marriott Budapest Hotel from 6 to 8 May 2026 and will bring together around 250 delegates for conference sessions, social events and networking opportunities.
