What to Expect

The R3 South West & Wales committee welcomes members and non-members to this technical event at Menzies in Cardiff.

The personal insolvency session will examine a recent judicial decision on the ‘use it or lose it’ principle, including what information provided by a bankrupt may amount to notice of a relevant interest in property.

The corporate restructuring session will consider what the Court of Appeal ruling in Thames Water means for restructuring plans in practice, and will explore the position taken by and towards key stakeholders including HMRC, different creditor groups, and guardians of the public interest.

The event will also provide an opportunity to meet and network with professionals from the restructuring and insolvency community.
