Shonagh is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, having qualified in external audit before joining Grant Thornton’s Restructuring and Insolvency team in 2023. Since then, she has developed experience in delivering IBRs across a variety of sectors, working closely with businesses and their key stakeholders. Her work has involved assessing and reporting on critical issues such as short-term cash flow needs, long-term financial forecasts, and overall business viability to help inform strategic options. In addition, Shonagh supports a range of insolvency assignments, including employee matters, retention of title claims, and investigations into pre-appointment transactions with a view to identifying potential recoveries
