Paul Bannister is the Head of Policy in the Insolvency Service, a partner organisation of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. Paul is the head of all policy areas covered by the Insolvency Service, including enforcement, pre-packs and measures introduced under the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020. Paul has many years experience working in insolvency policy having led on the 2018 Insolvency and Corporate Governance Consultation and worked as policy sponsor for the Insolvency Service in his capacity as Head of Company Law Frameworks. Paul has also previously worked in the Better Regulation Executive and on Competition Law and Mergers.
