Judge of Appeal Professor Dr Dominik Skauradszun, LL.M. is a full professor of civil law, civil procedure and company law at Fulda University, Judge of Appeal at the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt, and Honorary Professor of insolvency law at the Centre of Business and Insolvency Law of the Law School of Nottingham Trent University, England. Professor Skauradszun is co-editor and author of legal commentaries, legal handbooks and peer-reviewed journals and has published nearly 300 works, including 130 publications on insolvency and restructuring law. He sits on the bench of the 4th Senate, which hears appeals in insolvency and restructuring cases. As an academic, he has also participated in hearings of the German Bundestag, several federal ministries and supervisory authorities and has written legal opinions in landmark insolvency and restructuring cases.
