David, along with co-director Sally Dunscombe, founded Recovery First in 2011. Prior to this, he was involved in a litigation funding business which was strategically placed into run off in 2008, and experienced first-hand the challenges faced when exiting the personal injury arena. This highlighted the need for strong and structured administration, combined with the need to remain close to individual cases and a detailed understanding of bill drafting to ensure maximum financial recovery is achieved over time. David has a wealth of legal sector specific knowledge and experience, gained from managing businesses involved in the civil litigation arena from 1989 onwards, together with financial, analytical and risk & compliance experience.
