Alistair McAlinden – Managing Director, Interpath Advisory Alistair leads the Interpath Advisory team in Scotland and operates across our offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. He has 20 years of experience across formal insolvency processes and restructuring advisory (options analysis, contingency planning, cash / cost management, business reviews and accelerated M&A and fundraising processes). He has extensive experience advising corporates and their key stakeholders across a number of industry sectors, including: Retail; Hospitality & Leisure; Real Estate; Financial Services; Industrial Manufacturing; and Construction. High profile projects in the Retail sector where Alistair has led our project teams include: Joint Administrator of Sapphire 15 s.a.r.l. and Sapphire 16 s.a.r.l. – two Luxembourg entities which owned the East Kilbride Shopping Centre (the largest undercover shopping and leisure destination in Scotland) Joint Liquidator of St Giles Shopping Centre Holdings Limited – operator of St Giles Shopping Centre in Elgin. Joint Administrator of Quiz Clothing entities (appointments in February 2026) – three entities which together operated the UK Quiz store portfolio (40 units) and also the online sales platform and retail activities in the Middle East. Joint Liquidator of Skyside Trading Limited – operator of four casual dining restaurants, located in shopping centres, which operated under a master franchise agreement brand. Confidential options reviews and accelerated sale processes – underlying businesses included: Scottish focused fashion retailer and Scottish HQ’d bicycle and accessories retailer.
